The Regulator with Compensated Pendulum, the world’s largest carriage clock, made its debut in Singapore recently. Created by L’Eppe, the 156-year-old French watch maker, this complicated timepiece stands 2 metres tall and weighs more than a ton. It took a team of 20 people to produce it and 2800 hours of work and 350 hours of study went into its making.
The timepiece, made of hand-polished solid brass, is truly a magnificent sight.
