Members of Riau province’s National Conservation Agency (BKSDA) try to save the life of a female elephant calf in Pematang, Bengkalis. The 18-month-old calf, found by local villagers, died Tuesday from a serious wound on her left thigh, probably sustained when she was chased by local farmers.
