Breitling Launches Emergency

Breitling, the Swiss makers of high-quality precision watches, especially chronographs, has come up with a timepiece which is said to be technologically advanced and can possibly save lives.

Known as Emergency, this latest model not only performs horological functions, it is also a piece of survival equipment with a micro-transmitter that broadcasts on the 121.5 MHz emergency aviation frequency. Under optimum conditions, its signal can be detected as far as 400km away. The emergency’s distinctive advantage over other devices is that it is worn on the wrist.
